NWRRC April Lure Trial

The weather couldn’t have been more perfect for the NWRRC April 4 & 5 Lure Trial in North Bend, Washington.  The rain held off during the day, and it was cool but nice and sunny.  Just right for running!  Our club member’s dogs gave it their all, and Betsy Metcalf snapped some nice photos of their efforts.  Saturday had Sarah Smith-Falkner’s Batman winning the Open class, but it was Joe Piott’s Veteran entry Anna that ran away with Best of Breed.  Gordon Ballantyne’s Caymus went from winning in the Breed ring to winning on the field by taking first place in the Open class on Sunday.  Anna won the Veteran class again, and Sharee Schreiner’s Lita picked up her game to win the Special’s class.  Huntmaster Cyndy Israel gave the tally ho, and Lita won Best of Breed in the end.  Good weather, good people, great dogs!
